Januik Weinbau Vineyard Riesling, available in our Tasting Room starting tomorrow.

Weinbau Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope is one of Washington’s most celebrated sites for Riesling. Mike and Andrew have worked with fruit from Weinbau for many years and its unmistakable sense of place made it the perfect choice for the return of this beloved w**e.

Long before Washington became known for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Mike was honing his craft making Riesling at Chateau Ste Michelle with w**es that first put our state on the map. Riesling has always held a special place in his w**emaking journey.

Fresh, expressive, and wonderfully food-friendly, this off dry Riesling is bursting with white peach, lime zest, honeysuckle and the bright acidity that makes Washington Riesling so irresistible.

Our biggest Summer Release Party yet.

Cellar Circle, you showed up in an incredible way—and we couldn’t be more grateful. With Beaux Breaux rockin’ the booth, Chef Tanner manning the grill, the Januiks and Novelty Hill–Januik team everywhere in between, and most importantly our Cellar Circle fam showing up with their party hats it was an awesome night!

Thank you for making this community what it is. These celebrations are created for our members, and seeing so many of you together made this one extra special.

If w**e is the heart of what we do, food is the heartbeat.

After giving him a few months to plant his feet, learn our rhythms, and quietly make his mark, it is well past time we introduce the heart of our kitchen: Chef Tanner Smith.

We have always believed our food should follow the same philosophy as our w**e: begin with exceptional ingredients, rely on thoughtful technique, show a delicate hand, and never lose sight of the joy and love behind the craft.

Tanner was the perfect fit.

Classically trained in French cuisine and deeply inspired by the Latin flavors he grew up with, Tanner brings both precision and soul to the kitchen. His food can be refined without losing its warmth, familiar without being predictable, and beautiful without forgetting that food should first and foremost be delicious.

Great w**e and great food have something in common: they stay with you. A flavor, a smell, a moment around a table can settle into your memory and become part of a much larger story. That is what we hope to create here—not simply something to eat or drink, but something that makes the day feel a little more meaningful.

Tanner has already brought new energy, creativity, and a great deal of heart to Novelty Hill–Januik. We are incredibly lucky to have him, and we cannot wait for you to experience what he is creating.

Please help us give a very overdue welcome to Chef Tanner.
