I LOVE our customers!

Tyler has been coming here for about a year. He's called me Kevin, Ken, Karl...and always forgot it's Kyle. That's OK, it never bothered me. However, today he stopped in and gave me a box. Inside it was a beautiful name badge (so he won't forget my name). Of course i put it on!!!!

You never know who's going to stop in at Mountain Dogz. This kind man donated a $130 pay it forward today. Our board is full with meals for people who cant afford lunch. THANK YOU!!!!!!! Woodland Park is great!

Due to the tremendous turn out today we ran out of dogs and brats. Our next delivery is set for Monday. Unfortunately that means we won't be open tomorrow (10/4). We'll see you back on Wednesday (10/7) all re-stocked.

We are always glad to help TCRAS. Today we have 30 hot dogs for their volunteer appreciation lunch.

Rosa, one of my weekly customers brought me a couple of Alaskan caught Halibut steaks.

I added lemon butter and seared them along with pasta with tomatoes, tarragon, parsley, basil, and thyme. Topped it with some parmesan cheese. Yummy!! Thanks Rosa!!

Yep...it beats a hot dog.

🌭 WHAT DOES “WEATHER PERMITTING” MEAN? 🌨️

You’ll see “Weather Permitting” listed with our hours at Mountain Dogz this time of year. Basically, it means Mother Nature is part of management—and unfortunately, she outranks us. 😂

❄️ If it’s snowing — we’re closed.
🥶 Below 35°F — we’re closed.
🌬️ If the wind is trying to relocate the hot dog stand — we’re probably closed.

We really do try to be OPEN as much as possible. But besides keeping our fingers and toes from turning into popsicles, food safety matters. Cold temperatures, snow, high winds, and other nasty weather can make safely operating an outdoor food stand difficult.

And because this is Colorado, the forecast at breakfast may have absolutely nothing to do with the weather at lunchtime. 🤷‍♂️🏔️
