Wow. What a day.
Before we even opened this morning, people were already waiting. From that point on, we had a steady line all the way through 2:00 PM. In fact, it was so busy that we never had a chance to stop and take a single photo.
What touched us most was seeing so many people stop by simply to make a donation. Some folks even brought dog treats for Murphy. The generosity, kindness, and compassion shown by this community today was incredible.
We even had some of the employees from Wendy's order lunch, just so they could make a donation to help Ed and Murphy. That's what real community looks like—people helping people, regardless of where they work or who they know.
We were honored to host this fundraiser and help support Ed and Murphy during a difficult time. Today was a reminder that when someone in our community is hurting, people step up and pull together.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to everyone who came out, donated, shared kind words, brought treats for Murphy, and showed your support. You made a real difference today.
Community matters. And today, our community proved it....over $1,500 TIMES.
Woodland Park, you should be proud of yourselves.
