A little experimenting in the kitchen! 🎃

I tried my hand at a pumpkin spice sourdough loaf last week, and let me tell you… it LOOKED amazing and smelled even better! The taste, however, didn’t quite live up to the expectations. 😂 If I’d tasted it with my eyes closed, I would’ve sworn it was a plain sourdough loaf!

Don’t get me wrong, it was a GOOD loaf (and we ate every bit of it!), but back to the drawing board for this one!

I don’t think it was a coincidence that Willow’s homeschool lesson this week was centered around “I don’t quit. I persevere.” 💛 Galatians 6:9

Learning doesn’t stop when we grow up. I am glad God put an example right in front of us for Willow to see that even as adults, we still have things to learn, mistakes to make, and reasons to keep trying. Sometimes things don’t turn out the way we planned, and sometimes God’s timing looks different than our own. But we can keep learning, trust His timing, and persevere through the process.

This was our last cutting for the season, and now we want to see how well y’all know the farm! 👀

This pasture is around 15-ish acres… so take your best guess:
👉 How many round bales of hay did we get off this pasture? Just fyi, it’s been cut 3 times!
The closest guess wins $20 in Farmstand credit! 🎉
⏰ Get your guess in by Sunday at 12 PM! Winner will be chosen Sunday afternoon.

The past month…life lately. We have been busy and are so very grateful. We now have two more places with our products, a new grandbaby was born, a storm took a good chuck of our roof, I had hand surgery, Willow started school, the big boys went back to school, new baby calves are hitting the ground….life has been BUSY and we are blessed. Thank you for all of your encouragement and support of our farm. We appreciate you more than you know!
