Free Eggs!!
We have eggs available. These are free. I would take them to the blessing box. But I don’t want them getting hot and cold and going bad. Must pick up!! Please no resales.

Did you know a queen will sing to the brood? The term is called piping. If you listen you will hear a high pitched squeak. It usually indicates that the hive is about to swarm.

I told Krista a few years ago I was going to get a few bees. This was not the amount I had in mind. The bad part is this is not all of them. I guess I’ll be moving bees in the rain this weekend.

We still have tomato plants available!! Come pick some up this week. Before Thomas tries to plant them.

Thomas added some Ox heart tomatoes this morning. These are what I like to can green. They don’t have a lot of seeds and make excellent fried green tomatoes. They are also good canning and eating tomatoes. We still have plenty of Better Boy and Cherokee Purples and sweet potatoes. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow night. It’s a good time to get them in the ground. I’ll be home all day.

Although we don’t have any larger jars of honey available. We do have these adorable little 4oz jars of pure raw honey. They come with a dipper and a little bee charm. These make wonderful Christmas gifts. They are $6 each.
