One color, four very different looks 🐄

Believe it or not, all four of these cattle are variations of red! From left to right: Whimsy, Ruby, Slippers, and Cake (bull). They all lined themselves up from darkest to lightest while eating grain this evening.

Coat color genetics are so neat. The same basic red coloring can show up as everything from a deep, rich mahogany on Whimsy to Cake's diluted strawberry-blonde. 🍓

And with Cake currently breeding all three girls, I'm VERY curious to see what shades of red might show up next May/June! 👀❤️ We cannot wait for our girls to come home from their bull visit!!!

Thank you all for a great weekend at the Farmstand!!! We haven't been able to keep eggs in stock due to how quickly you all are grabbing them up! ❤️ We will have a fresh dozen available in the morning. 🥚🥚🥚

We are sold out of our homemade Vanilla Extract until fall time so stay tuned for that restock. Fall is right around the corner after all 🤫🤎

Tart Cherries have one pint left available and it is our last of the cherry season! 🍒 Once Tart Cherries are gone, they won't be back until next summer.
