We sent a lamb in for processing and picked it up from our friends at McPhee’s Butcher Block. As an example of what you will receive when purchasing a whole lamb the results on a 54 lb lamb hanging are 2 shoulder roasts, 6 lamb chops (2 pack ea) 2 racks, 2 sirloin roasts, 5 leg steaks (2 pack ea) and 6 1 lb ground lamb. We went to pick up a load of milled lumber from our good friends Hantho Custom Sawmill and while talking Ollie sat down on a slab and Molly decided to come say hello. As a Dad this summer has been so special getting to work with Ollie and build our relationship. It hasn’t always been glorious every moment but I wouldn’t trade the opportunity for anything. Thanks for being my wingman this summer Ollie!

It’s moving day!! Big thanks to Hantho Custom Sawmill for supplying us with the lumber to build our new chicken tractor. We have three more to build and they are solid!

Field maintenance is critical to growing healthy animals. Summers in the PNW are pleasant - but often hot and dry. Reliable irrigation is critical to growing healthy pastures that our animals rely on. Over a 12 hour period this row of irrigation will apply roughly 2” of water needed for continued growing. That also means every 12 hours we will move the set and hit a new area. Little things that farmers do to raise food for your table! 👌😎
