Slow cooked with celery, onions, carrots, garlic, sage, oregano and bay leaves for just over 48 hours.

Tonight dinner was a ‘use up the veggies in the fridge’ kind of night. And honestly, it was pretty tasty!

apparently, I can’t run my canner, my insta pot (still cooking the chickens lol) and your slow cooker at the same time (still making broth) in the kitchen😂😂

It’s been such a busy week already, and it’s only the beginning of the week!

Sunday morning, we processed TWENTY SEVEN grow out roosters! 27! And that’s not even all of them!

They were on the smaller side, but that’s ok. I’ve been cooking them up and shredding them, and making bone broth!

We didn’t see the point in 27 birds that we had no need for. They are useful in other ways…

We make a lot of bone broth around here. It is so versatile to use in cooking!

I can’t wait to show you the BEAUTIFUL broth ❤️❤️❤️

Lemon Balm, mint & Hibiscus tea ❤️❤️

Sooo refreshing in this heat!!

And it’s so simple to make!

You simply fill a jar with fresh or dried lemon balm, mint and hibiscus. And then sit it out in the sun!

I’ll be real honest, my attitude this past week has sucked! I’m hoping the lemon balm will help calm that down!

Y’all have no idea how excited this makes me 😂😂😂

This darn thing hasn’t worked for MONTHS! I made it my mission to figure it out today and IT’S cleaning!! Well, after I already vacuumed because it wasn’t working lol.
