Just a reminder that we have new fall hours and that our farmstand will be closed this week.

The farmstand will be back open Thursday, October 22nd at 7 am packed with lots of goodies!!

Happy Saturday!

Just restocked pumpkin butter and other preserves.

There are some baked goods left and one elderberry shot in the fridge more will be coming soon.

We have made the decision with all we have going on next week to not open the farmstand. We apologize but we will be back open Thursday, October 22nd at 7 am with lots of goodies for you!!

We are so appreciative of all who continue to support us…we couldn’t do what we love without you!

I knew we would end up having babies since there is a storm coming in. I was surprised it was Lucy first though. I have been waiting for Flower to kid for the past week.

She will be next! There will be a lot more babies to share.

So much cuteness!!!

Happy Thursday!!

The farmstand is full of baked goods this morning.

Roasted garlic and herb bread
Pecan sticky buns
Apple turnovers
Oatmeal cream pies
Raspberry sweet rolls with lemon glaze
Butter pecan and pumpkin crumb muffins
Pumpkin spice oatmeal cream pies
And more!

Fridge has been stocked with fresh eggs.

Preserves and freeze dried items have been restocked.

Just a few goats milk soaps left but don’t worry! More are curing. Tallow body butters are back in stock 🙌🏻

Stock up this week…we will only be open Thursday next week and we may not have a lot of fresh baked goods available on that day. Gina is planning on making bread and we’ll have eggs, etc. just not sure how much baking I’ll be able to get in before heading out.

So much okra this year.

Every year is so different. I try to teach my family to be thankful for that which we receive in abundance in a given year and preserve all you can as you don’t know what the next year will bring.

We have had several crop that have done very well this year and of course those that haven’t whether it be due to how Mother Nature treats us, pests or critters not sharing. It gets frustrating and disappointing at times but we need to be thankful for that which we’ve been blessed with.

We have enjoyed a lot of okra this year…pickled, seasoned and freeze dried, deep fried, in stir fry and corn bread.

The littles finally tried deep fried okra this weekend and realized just what they’d been missing out on. So now it is time to coat and freeze more to enjoy this winter.

So thankful for the rain we received, it was definitely much needed.

A reminder that our new fall hours started this week. We will only be open Thursday through Saturday 7am to 7pm until the week before Christmas.

Y’all…our little farmstand can’t get any fuller!!

So many yummy fresh baked goodness today…
Honey sourdough and roasted herb and garlic breads
Apple pie cinnamon rolls
Apple turnovers
Oatmeal cream pies
Pumpkin crumb and banana chocolate chip muffins
and more

Fresh organic peppers (sweet and hot), okra, eggplant and cucumbers. Preserves, freeze dried items, goat’s milk soaps, raw local honey and fresh chicken and quail eggs.

Don’t forget our new hours starts today. We will be open Thursday through Saturday 7am to 7pm until the week before Christmas.
