Spring time on the farm!
So far our feral farm cat who is now tame brought us her 3 kittens, I am calling them Panther (female), Tiger (male), and Spitfire (yellow tux, male). Their mom, Maybelle, has started weaning them. Up for adoption soon.
We incubated 18 eggs, only 9 hatched but some of the eggs were from our old chickens.
Planted a herb garden, vegetables, and 2 grape vines.
1st Bee swarm caught and is now at a friend's apiary (over 3 miles away) as it was on our porch...it will come back in 2 weeks to our apiary.
And the best news...our first calf of the year was born today. Lavender is the mom. We are expecting some more calves soon.
