There are still 2 puppies looking for homes! I've fielded a ton of inquiries, but no takers as of yet. Both Dixie and Earl are showing strong herding instincts, are mostly well behaved (they are puppies after all), and are housebroken. Miss Dixie is the more dominant of the two, but don't let Earl's gentlemanly deference fool you, he takes no crap from anyone except his sister and momma.

I almost forgot to post a picture of my niece and Pearl! We surprised her (with permission from all necessary parties) with Pearl for her 18th birthday which technically isn't until November. Danielle Hromadka fell in love with Pearl when she was only a few days old and had been begging her parents to let her buy the puppy, unbeknownst to her myself and her Uncle Josh Callahan were working in the background to gift her the puppy. We pulled the surprise off perfectly and both myself and Danielle were almost in tears.

The first of two puppies leaving today, Mr. Rooster, is off to Illinois with his half sister Remi, and Uncle Roscoe. It is truly an honor to have Hannah Perrine and Beau continue to come to me when they want to add another border collie to their family. From Beau's parents getting their first pup, Scout, from me when he was a teenager to him and Hannah getting their now three it's been great getting to know them and getting to call them my friends.

I can't believe that the puppies are almost ready to head to their new homes! There are four babies still looking for homes though. This group is one of the most playful I've had in a long time. I swear they play until they drop, then get right back up and do it all over again! Even in the heat and humidity we've been getting, when the big dogs are looking for shade and a water tub or pool, they are out in the yard chasing each other around. Their newest obsession is to herd the red rooster who likes to sneak in their kennel building to steal their dog food.
