Eikleberry Goats is a small family owned farm where we have raised goats for several years and now have decided to show them.

Our kidding season came to an end last week on Saturday; I got a little behind on updates…Caddy gave us a set of twins one of each, Penny gave us one very large buck kid, and Scarlet finished us off with two does and one buck. We finished with 12 kids
9 girls and 3 boys
Today was there first day outside and the only pictures I got were of the aftermath of everyone sleeping!

We lost power Friday morning at 12:00A.M from the snow storm and of course while we had no power two of our does decided that would be a great time to kid… so we delivered kids in the freezing cold with flashlights and no heat bulbs. Thankfully both sets of kids are doing great! Paisley had us a set of triplet does and Bobbie gave us two does.
We currently have 6 kids and there all does! Total opposite from last year! Three more to go.

Our kidding season has gotten of to a fairly rough start this year. Lola kidded about a month early and unfortunately lost all of her babies. Yesterday first timer Dori gave us twin does but unfortunately one of them was still born. We our currently thankful for our one lone survivor and hopeful that things start looking up from here.The other five does left to kid must be holding there’s hostage until the ice/snow storm starts.

Some updated pictures of the herd. 6 of our does are bred to Chestnut; the rest are bred to the new buck. Excited to see what we get come February. Let me know if you would like added to our kidding list.

Our kidding season came to an end late Thursday night into Friday morning! We ended with 11 kids; 9 boys and 2 girls!
Bobbie started us with three boys; Scarlet gave us a nice single buck kid. Paisley had us triples two does and one buck; unfortunately we did loose one of her doe kids. Velma gave us two big boys; Penny had us a huge single doe and Ruby finished us off with two more boys! I normally try not to name anything we don’t plan on keeping; but Piper has broken the rules and has most of them named! 🤦‍♀️ Mainly ScoobyDoo names

Started our 2021 kidding season out tonight with Piper’s Bobbie she was so excited! Three beautiful bucks! Piper and I are both a little bummed we didn’t get a girl from her... but we have 5 more to go

The newest member of the heard from High Hill Acers. Chestnut aka Chester he didn’t want his picture taken tonight; I’m hoping to get some colorful kids this fall!

We have two doe kids born Feb. 21 for sale,ready to go now would make good market does at the fair. We also have a yearling doe available as well. I can get pictures tonight.
