We use locally sourced ingredients in order to support other local businesses, as we seek to foster community through high-quality meals. OUR STORY: In 2001, we s

tarted our first food adventure opening The Black Bear Deli in West Hurley, NY. The deli was an instant success as the neighborhood fell in love with the amazing egg sandwiches, pancakes, spicy chicken wraps, blue claw crab mac and cheese and more. Every day Scott would fill the deli case with an tantalizing array of dishes from Chicken Marsala to Curried Tofu, Shrimp Puttanesca to Eggplant parmesan. People enjoyed both dining in with us, as well as taking meals home to be enjoyed with family later. Customers relished having a gourmet Chef at their fingertips who created wonderfully delicious dishes for a reasonable price. Due to lease issues, the Deli closed in 2005. Fast forward 17 years, and we’re back. Although this time, with a twist. We are creating the same dishes with loads of new additions, now delivered right to your door! The world has changed, but excellent food stands the test of time. We look forward to feeding our community once again and hope you will join us on this new adventure in food.

Good morning my friends. I am coming to you live, from my bed, in the amazing West Hurley!! I got the menu up yesterday, and ordering is open. We don’t have some of our regular items, but we have most of them. Specials are looking good, including our Watermelon Gazpacho, Chicken Parmesan and Chana masala. Local. Delicious. Hello my fellow travelers 🧳 through this crazy life! Our menu is up……and even though I am down (hip is healing well thank you for all your well wishes!) Scotty is ready to rock. We have some tasty choices this week including Salmon en croute with tender coho salmon, dill marinated shrimp wrapped in a puff pastry with a silky lemon cream sauce and served over rice pilaf. Hey boys and girls! So, I just received info that I am scheduled for a hip replacement next week! Scotty can not do this by himself. So we won’t be delivering next week. If you would like to add anything to your order this week to throw in the freezer, to get you through next week. please do! Sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience. - If you want to add something that is less than the minimum, just shoot me a message. We thought we could pull it off, however, the surgery day changed and we just can’t.
