As we celebrate 250 years of independence, we especially honor the American farmers who have shaped the nation and our heritage across all 50 states. Farmers have built rural communities, ensured food sovereignty, and contributed to a culture rooted in tradition and deep connection to the land.
We are proud to be a part of Vermont’s rural heritage, made up of small, diversified farms of all kinds who have built an incredibly strong food system that gives back to the land and our communities. Vermont’s terroir, or “taste of place”, mixes a unique flavor of the region - our maple syrup, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables - with an ethos of sustainability, conservation, and neighbors helping neighbors. Thank a farmer today, shop local, and have a wonderful Independence Day! 🇺🇸 ❤️🤍💙
