We can laugh at the rhyme, but food-safety headlines just keep coming and they're not funny.

That’s yet another reason—LOCAL MATTERS.

Shorter supply chains can mean fewer miles, fewer handoffs and better traceability. And when we know the farmers growing our lettuce, raising our chickens and producing our eggs, we can ask how our food was grown, handled and cared for.

Local doesn’t mean risk-free. But knowing where your food comes from—and who produced it—matters. We Know and We Care!

🎶 SIGN, SIGN… FINALLY A FOOD SHED SIGN! 🎶

And the sign said,
“Everybody welcome — come on inside!”
No membership card needed,
Just good food waiting on the other side. 😄

After a long wait, our new highway sign is up and making it a whole lot easier to understand that the Food Shed is a full service GROCERY STORE, who knew?

So if you’re cruising down Route 14 and wondering what that community-owned grocery store is all about… now you can you read the sign? 😉
