Food Shed Co-op

Hands up if you have a collection of surplus random shopping bags in the trunk of your car. 🙋‍♀️

Let us help you out. Bring them to your community-owned grocery store and hang them on our bag tree.

There are environmental impacts on all bags, whether paper, plastic or reusable. The most effective method to reduce the impact is to use it again and again.

So clear out your car and help Mother Earth. She’ll thank you.

Today marks the beginning of National Co-op Month. It’s a great time to celebrate being part of a movement that makes a positive difference in society.

This month we will share a little co-op trivia and maybe a quiz or two. Make sure you keep an eye open in the store too.

I’ll start with a quick multiple choice question:

Approximately how many people worldwide are members of a co-op?

A.)1.2 million

B.) 12 million

C.) 1.2 billion

Check back tomorrow for the answer.
