All work is done slowly, at the horses pace to ensure things are stress free for the horse as possible. Within the industry he works with horses in Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Halter and some Hunter under Saddle events. 15yo Half Arab, Half mustang mare standing 13.3.

Kheema has been exposed to trails and a variety of arena riding. Was started late, she has not been ridden into the ground. Personable and easy to work with she could continue as a trail horse or could be cute as a hunter or dressage pony.

Leads, loads, ties and stands for vet/farrier.
No stall vices but she can get buddy sour at times.

Hiring! 2 positions available!!

#1 Groom/ general barn help Monday-Friday
#2 Stall cleaner/chore person Saturday and Sundays

#1 position will potentially include some stall cleaning, but not regularly. Main jobs would be grooming, saddling and lunging as well as other duties like checking/ cleaning waterers, de-cobwebbing, moving hay/ grain, and any other "house keeping" chores to keep things looking nice. No riding, I don't care if you think you can ride the stripes off a zebra, I'm not looking for a riding assistant, so please don't ask.

#2 Stall cleaning, feeding hay and filling/ dumping water buckets/tanks, turn out/in, decobwebbing and general house keeping.

Horse experience required for both positions. No novices, sorry.

These are physically demanding jobs and it's hard, dirty work. Zero tolerance attendance, so if you can't show up every day, do not contact me. If you repeatedly have drama with your boyfriend/girlfriend, hook-ups, family etc., please skip.

Drivers license and reliable vehicle a must.(see above)

Total hours and start time can be flexible. Both positions pay better than Walmart, so you'll expected to work harder than a Walmart greeter.

**If any of this offends you, before you make a stupid comment, ask yourself if you would keep your horse at a facility with help that wont show up on time, or complete the difficult jobs because its too hot or too cold..

We are a fun, easy to be around group and we enjoy the barn family and want somone interested in the same.

Looking to hire barn help!

Starting by 7/7:30 each morning, hours can vary and will discuss more if interested.

5-6 days per week, roughly 45 hours. Pay depends on experience, but well above minimum wage. No i dont post pay publicly, if you dont like it move along.

We are a fun, easy to be around group and we enjoy the barn and having a good time, but this is also a business and expect it to be treated as such.

Its taken a couple days to recover and get back into our regular routine, but now that the dust has settled its time to recap our trip to Tulsa!

We took 3 horses and all 3 brought home some some hardware and rhe opportunity to brag a little!

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to ride each horse and proud of their accomplishments and improvements both!

Had a fantastic time in Weatherford for session #2 of Tomorrows Horsemen Program. Its an honor to be a part of this group of talented horsemen and women. Thank you is never enough to NSBA, the Foundation and all the donors that make this possible. Looking forward to a summer of showing and our next session in December!
