The marathon of show season is coming to an end..
We are at the Dulles expo this weekend in Chantilly VA- The Friday thru Sunday! You can find us near the exit Booth 906
Next weekend it’s the final show of the year in the Chase Center in Wilmington, DE.

Been having to earn it this season with very low sugar content maple sap. Most of our sap has been testing 1% or a little under- that means we need almost 90 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup.

The grind has been paying off though- because despite the low sugar sap, we have been making some really, really nice syrup all season long.

The forecast looks pretty good coming into the second half of March, lots of nights in the 20s and days in the 40s. Fingers crossed for a strong finish.

Sugaring marks the start of the farming year for us. We’ve been working hard to get taps in, earlier than ever, to catch the sap run coming this week.

With a little luck, we’ll get our close to 2000 taps in and get some nice early season syrup made. Lots to do, long days and long nights ahead from now until early April.

So far so good with 535 gallons of syrup made as we head into the peak of our season.

Excited to be in the DC area this weekend at the show at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA.
Here today and tomorrow from 10am-5pm!
We’ve got our maple syrup, maple cream and sugar! Some really nice soaps and beeswax candles and our wildflower honey!
