Super Blue harvest will be happening in the next few days! You’ll find it on the drying wall in the coming weeks as well as small bundles and picks in the shop. You’re going to love the deep blue, fragrant stems of this English variety!

What to expect in the fields. The lavender is loaded with buds and some are beginning to show hints of color. We’re beginning to see that dreamy look as the lavender stems stretch and intertwine. Full bloom is on its way!

We’re sharing a look at the lavender in one of our back fields today.

SuperBlue is our earliest blooming English lavender as you can see by all the gorgeous purple buds. This is the first variety we harvest each season, most of which will be dried and used for small bundles or picks.

On the left is Gros Bleu, one of our French lavandins. These will be harvested and dried in mid June for large bundles. No matter if they’re fresh or dried, the deep color, long stems and wispy shape are simply stunning!
