I only recently discovered that having a fake Porch Goose was a thing. Until a predator got her, I had a real one. I called her White Wing because she had one white wing. She was always on my porch and would even rap on my front door glass if I didn’t come out early enough.

FB is sending automated messages to new followers saying “Hi …. Thanks for following us. Is there anything we can help you with?” How do I turn off that feature or at least reword the welcome message to new followers?

I’ve spent hours online with Meta AI agents who can’t figure it out either. They’ve checked all settings. All automation is turned off and I don’t use any third party AI apps. So if you get one of these messages, please know I did not send it. My message would be more like “Hi. I’m so happy to have you joining me on this journey.”

Wishing everyone a happy Friday morning. Anyone have anything special planned for the weekend? I’m taking a much needed break and going to New Orleans.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that these are harmless little creatures who only eat ticks. I caught this varmit in my breeder pen this morning and it had killed and completely eaten two of my hens. I couldn’t bring myself to kill it even though it was attacking me through the cage so I took it down the road a ways and turned it loose.
