Badger State Bloodys are usually served with a “b**r back” — preferably New Glarus Spotted Cow or Miller High Life — and piled high with veggies, cheese, meat sticks, and (sometimes) entire MEALS 🤯

2026 Bacon Bash is in River Falls this weekend. Why not start off the festivities with a Bloody Mary from Tarnation Tavern Best Bloody Mary in the area. Trust me on this one.

When in South Dakota, head to Bottoms Up in Corson, just outside of Sioux Falls. You can get a very tasty Bloody Mary using Chief's Bloody Mary mix. You get a beef stick, pickle and a fresh slice of bacon. Doesn't get much better than that.

Today's adventure brought me to Eau Claire, WI. Northern Taphouse has a variety of bloody marys to try and also every month they have a special one. What's really awesome is you can get a flight of 4 of their Bloodys. So that's what I did. You get their Big Dill Bloody Mary with a pickle roll-up, their Bacon Bloody with a strip of bacon, the Fiery Bloody with a deep fried Jalapeño popper, and the Classic Bloody with a cheese cube, pickle, celery, and beef stick. Each comes in a 4oz glass with a 4oz chaser of b**r as well. If you like variety, this is the way to go.

When you go to a brewery on a Sunday, you expect to enjoy some good craft b**rs. Look what I found in Appleton, WI. Hop Yard Ale Works has Bloody Marys available on Sundays. Great flavor and it comes with tomatoes, mozzarella, salami, and some garlic bread. While you are enjoying the Bloody Mary, grab yourself a pizza as well.

You had me at "Bloody Mary in a bucket". Spending the day in Door County and we had to check out Carlsville Day. I found this amazing Bloody Mary today. It's a homemade mix and you get a giant skewer with olives, beef sticks, string cheese, and a pickle. The also throw in some cheese whips, because who doesn't need more cheese, right? And, it's in a mini bucket. Great flavor and just the right amount of spice.

When I venture out for a Bloody Mary, it usually comes with a side of breakfast. Today I went to Tarnation Tavern (surprising, I know). Best Bloody Mary in the area and I always get the Breakfast platter. 2 eggs, toast, breakfast potatoes, bacon, and a sausage patty. If you havent been here, you are missing out.

This week's Bloody Mary is from Bobtown Bar and Grill in Roberts, WI. I was told it is one of the owner's family recipe. It is very delicious, and there is something about it that I can't quite figure out what it is. It almost has a sweet taste but not sure. Very good flavor overall. Will definitely be back here again.
