Going to the Twins v. Brewers games this weekend? Make sure you stop by Hrbek's in section 114 and get one of their signature Bloody Marys. This one is the Triple Sausage Sampler served with three of Kramarczuk’s most popular sausages (bratwurst, Polish, and andouille) along with standard fixings. Milwaukee Burger Company Bloody of the Month. The Big Mil. Bring your appetite (or someone to share it with) for this bad boy. You get 2 giant mozzerella sticks, 7 onion rings, and a giant Big Mil slider. Oh, and you can't forget the pickle, olive, beef stick, cheese and celery. All of this is on top of a 34oz bloody mary. What's one way you can make cheese curds taste better? Add some Bloody Mary mix to them. That's exactly what Small Town Cheese did. I picked these up in River Falls yesterday at That Girl Brie house of cheese. They are so good. Had to cut myself off and only ate half of the bag.

This weekend's Bloody Mary found in Cambridge, MN. Stopped in at Leader for breakfast and a bloody. The bloody mary was delicious and just the right amount of spice. They use a homemade mix and you get an olive, pepper, and carrot (no pickle, but that's ok). The restaurant is connected to a clothing store which has been in business for over 100 years. The restaurant opened about 5 years ago. Very cool place. Stop by if you're in the area.

I traveled to Dayton, Ohio last weekend and decided to pick up a couple of bottles of a locally made mix from the Cincinnati area, Queen'z Mixing Co. It's not distributed in the Dayton area just yet, but I was able to arrange a pick up near there. If you prefer a thicker bloody mary mix, then this is for you. The vodka and pickle juice I added thinned it out a little bit. My wife also added some to her chili she made last night. Overall very good flavor.

What are you drinking during the Super Bowl? This one is brought to you by Bernie's Bloody Mary dill flavored mix. This is the kind of mix you dont need to anything to besides vodka and ice of course. They have 3 different flavors to choose from. Dill, Horseradish, and Smokey Jalapeño. I sampled all 3 at a winter market and had to buy a bottle of each to take home. They were all delicious. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I was on the other side of the river today so I was on a mission to find a loaded bloody mary. My travels brought me to Kellys Korner Bar and Grill in Centerville, MN for their Collosal Bloody Mary. They serve these Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. This masterpiece comes with a cheeseburger slider, full barbecue chicken wing, mozzarella stick, buffalo chicken tender, onion ring, butterflied shrimp, mini corn dog, brat bite, pickle, olive, pepper, cheese, and last but not least, a bacon wrapped hard boiled egg. Whew, that's alot of food. They use a house mix which was very tasty.
