When we bought the farm we knew the lake had 2 holes that would need to be fixed. They started on that repair and rebuild yesterday. David is in a blue shirt and he is 6 foot tall. It is going to be a wonderful lake when it is fixed. Photo taken from the top of the dam. The ducks so far are still playing in the leftover water but they will be sad next week when it is all dried up. Here comes the DG kiddie pools to keep the ducks happy.

2 months ago we had a couple of overnight guests. Pelicans. I did not realize there were Pelicans in the midwest but there are. According to the information I found they were headed north to either the Dakotas or Minnesota. It was cool to see them. The ducks at first were not ready to share the pond but 10 minutes or so later decided to get back in the pond.

Monday morning chore greeting committee members. Cutie Patootie and Turkey. We were gifted 2 turkey a couple of weeks ago and have never owned turkey before. They are pretty calm and just walk around keeping their eyes on the farm.

Out picking tomatoes and splitting them with the hens this Sunday morning. They do like the fresh veggies we give them.
