Evans Training Stable/ Amalgamate Farms Starting horses in harness, all warm breeds welcome. When breeding our PREs we place a high value on tradition. We can also get your yearlings sale-ring ready.

We seek to obtain the goal of well-muscled, easily collected and balanced perfection and out produce our own stock. Family centered atmosphere with a combined 50+ years of horse experience between us. Husband has focused on Standardbreds, their breeding, care, training, and racing. Wife has experience with off-track Thoroughbreds, starting Standardbreds, stock horses and recently involved in breed

ing and advancing the Pure Spanish Horse. We practice gentle starting and do not rush our new horses into the harness. We will not waste your time if we notice that your horse will not acclimate to his new job. Don't hesitate to email with questions. We stable/train at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, Ohio.
