Homemade applesauce without peeling every apple first? 🙌

Quarter your apples, cook them until soft, then let the Hungry Artisan Food Mill do the separating for you. As the softened apples pass through, the mill creates that smooth applesauce texture while leaving the unwanted skins behind.

Less prep. Less peeling. More of your apple harvest turned into something delicious. 🍎🥄

Do you peel your apples first, or let your Food Mill handle it?

🍐 Recipe of the Week: Vanilla-Spiced Pear Butter

Pear season is here, and we're turning ripe September pears into something worth spreading on everything.

Cook the pears until tender, then run them through your Hungry Artisan Food Mill for that silky-smooth texture. A little vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and lemon turns the purée into a warm, fragrant pear butter made for early fall. 🍂

Try it on toast, biscuits, oatmeal, pancakes, or straight from the spoon. 🥄

🍐 That pear on your counter may be ready before it looks ready.

Unlike many fruits, pears can ripen from the inside out, so waiting until the whole pear feels soft can leave you with fruit that's already past its best.

The trick? Gently press near the neck of the pear. If it gives slightly, it's usually ready to enjoy.

And don't let those extra-ripe pears go to waste. Turn them into pear sauce, smooth purées, or other cooked recipes before they get forgotten on the counter.

Fresh, baked, preserved or milled, September is a beautiful time to put pears to work. 🍐

How do you use your fall pears?

🍇 Recipe of the Week: Homemade Concord Grape Jelly

September means grape season, and those deep purple Concord grapes are ready for more than snacking.

Cook them until tender, then put your Hungry Artisan Food Mill to work separating the skins and seeds before straining the juice for that beautiful homemade jelly.

Sweet, simple, and one more way to capture the harvest while it's here. 💜

Spread it on warm toast, biscuits, or tuck a few jars away to enjoy later in the year.
