God models what joy means. Fullness of joy comes when you are in the presence of God. Joy is being glad to be present with others. You may be in a hard conversation or facing a difficult problem BUT you can still have joy while being present with one another.

The reactions we later regret are often those made in haste before we know the whole story. Being truly curious naturally slows our reaction, allowing us to ask more questions and listen deeper. I have never regretted listening.

When we don’t know what we are working toward, we tend to just go through the motions and focus on the issues of today. Taking a slight pause every day to remember the bigger purpose can change our mindset from "have to" to"get to".

There are many “broken” things in our teams. Poor communication, assumptions, missed deadlines. Yet, they can shine in spite of those things. Yes, we need to work on what is not working AND we can celebrate the good that continues to happen.
