SAVE THE DATE! 🍇

Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Georgia Muscadine Festival on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, at Paulk Vineyards in Wray, Georgia!

Join us Labor Day Weekend for a full day of family-friendly fun celebrating Georgia's state grape. Festival activities will include the crowd-favorite Lucy Look-A-Like Contest, Grape Stomp, Live Music, Artisan Market, Food Trucks, 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, and Wine Tastings throughout the day.

Admission to the Georgia Muscadine Festival is FREE. The event will be held outdoors, with round tables and shaded tent areas available for guests. You're also welcome to bring your own lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and pop-up tents to make yourself comfortable. This is a family-friendly event for all ages, and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome too!

With Father’s Day around the corner, we’re taking a moment to honor a few of the Paulk men who helped shape our story, some of which your favorite wines are named after. 🍷

Hugo Handley was born on January 31, 1906. He married Pearl Ross in 1927, and together they raised two daughters, Jeannette and Juliette. While not many in the family today had the chance to know Hugo personally, his larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression. His bold, joyful spirit lives on in his grandsons and great-grandchildren, and in the wine that bears his name.

Our semi-dry red muscadine wine, Hugo, is full of flavor, easy to love, and perfect for sharing, just like the man himself.

While there are many variations of blackberry cobblers on Pinterest and in any Southern cookbook worth its salt, we’ve found that sometimes the simplest recipe is the best. And, the aptly-named “Lazy Girl Cobbler” recipe is certainly the easiest!

If you don’t care for blackberries, just switch them out for whatever summer fruit you like, or even combine fruits when you can’t decide! (Our favorite combo is blackberries and peaches!) 😋
