Gnarly Cedar Brewery

Gnarly Cedar Brewery Gnarly Cedar Brewery | Wrightstown, WI
Brewery + Kitchen Fresh Beers. Adventurous Souls. A reminder of place and the farmers that support the core of the brewery.

The name is rooted in the oldest known tree in Wisconsin, a 1315-year-old Red Cedar, that sits just behind the property. That namesake drives our philosophy; we hold a symbiotic relationship with nature and the local community. At Gnarly Cedar we are surrounded by cropland & the beauty of the Niagara Escarpment. We embrace the outdoor life, and the freedom that comes with the exploration of your p

assions. We love clean and refreshing beers that keep you coming back, and often find that simplicity in the recipe prevails. We are just beginning our journey in craft beer and invite you to help form our path – as long as the path stays gnarly!

Nearly 1 year ago - where did time go!? It took a massive effort to make this building what it is today & it took a ton of support from folks like you to keep us brewing beer, making great ‘za and showing up every day to do what we do best. ✌️😎

We’re throwing a Block Party | Celebrating 1 year of Gnarly! On Sept. 12th from 11-6pm. 🎉 Our entire team is looking forward to the shin-dig & all the things we have planned ahead! LFG!!

This Tuesday, August 11th, Wrightstown residents have something many communities never get with data center development: a direct opportunity to make their voices heard.

If you live in the Village of Wrightstown, head down to Village Hall on Tuesday and make your voice heard. Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, which gives you 13 hours to squeeze it in. 😉

This is a community changing decision, and every vote matters. Show up. Vote. Make sure Wrightstown speaks for Wrightstown.

And maybe grab a pint on the way home. You earned it. 🍻

There are some people who simply become part of a place. For us, Dick and Mary are two of them. ☺️

Back when Gnarly Cedar was still finding its footing, Dick would roll into the tasting room every week with two empty growlers, ready to be filled with his favorite IPA, Hop Duster. He and his wife, Mary, have been coming around ever since. Patio date nights, plenty of beers, plenty of laughs, and recently, 60 years of marriage.

Dick is a veteran, an Honor Flight participant, and the kind of guy who has a way of leaving everyone around him in a better mood.

Over the years, he had one simple request: if we ever made a Pale Ale, we had to name it after him. A request we were happy to oblige.

Introducing Dick’s Pale Ale - a traditional West Coast Pale Ale brewed with new school Dolcita hops, giving it a crisp citrus punch at 5.5% ABV.

A straightforward, dependable beer named after a straightforward, dependable guy.

This one’s for you, Dick. 🍻

Tonight the patio gets a little rhythm. The Brothers Gunn roll in from 6–8 PM, sending the strum rattlin' down the river. Grab a pint, a pour, a person, and make the best of these summer evenings. 🙌

Dads, this one’s for you. 🍺

Today we’re raising a glass to the fathers and father figures in our lives. The ones who show up when we need them most, lend an ear, fix the thing, and give the advice.

Dads, when you buy any beer today, we’ll pour you a free 10 oz. Greenleaf Lager because, after all, your lawn mowing lines are the best ones out there.

Happy Father’s Day! 😎

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first speaker series on AI Data Centers in Wrightstown. 🙌

It was informative, thoughtful, and encouraging to see the community coming together to learn, ask questions, and listen, including members of the board.

We heard firsthand the toll a project of this size can have on a community, and why it is so important that residents have time, information, and a real voice in the process.

Please continue to attend meetings. Continue to write letters and emails. Continue to ask questions.

And if you haven’t yet (and are a village resident), please sign the petition for a moratorium. It is one of the best tools we have to slow this down and make sure any decision is made with all of the information on the table.

Is this right for Wrightstown?

Let the community decide.👍
