This little place in Wrightsville had a big week. We have met so many new people coming in to try us, and we truly appreciate every person who has stopped by, shared a post, or told someone about Riverside Subs.

We are heading into a busy weekend, and do not forget Sunday is Wing Day. Jumbo wings are $8.99 a dozen all football season long. Limit two dozen per order while supplies last.

Today, Vecchia Sicilia Pizza turns 29 years old.

To my parents, congratulations. What you have built in Columbia is something that should make all of us proud. Keeping a family pizza shop going for nearly 30 years takes more than making great food. It takes long days, sacrifice, consistency, taking care of your customers, and never giving up when things get hard.

I was fortunate enough to spend about 25 of those years there learning from you. I got to see firsthand what it means to run a family business, how important it is to treat people right, and how much pride should go into every order that leaves the kitchen.

A lot of what I bring to Riverside Subs came from watching and learning from my parents at Vecchia Sicilia Pizza. The work ethic, the way we care about the food, and the way we want people to feel when they walk through the door all started there.

I am proud to be your son, proud of everything you have accomplished, and proud that your business has been part of this community for 29 years. Here is to 30 years and many more after that.

Another week in the books at Riverside Subs.

I just want to take a second tonight and thank everybody who has been supporting us. The people who have been with us since the beginning, the regulars who come in every week, and all the new customers who decided to stop in and see what we are about.

We have met a lot of new people lately through TikTok and Facebook, and it is honestly one of the best parts of doing this. People see a video, come in, try us out, then come back again with their family or tell a friend about us. That is how a small local place continues to grow, and we appreciate every share, comment, tag, review, and recommendation.

I also appreciate the people who are patient with us when we are busy, especially on the days we have a line out the door. We are always trying to keep improving, bring you new things to try, and make sure every person who walks in feels like they got a meal worth coming back for.

Thank you for making Riverside Subs part of your week. Have a great rest of your weekend, enjoy your Sunday, and we will see everybody when we are back open Wednesday.
