Flying Fibers is brought to you by the mother-daughter team of Jeri Robinson-Lawrence and Irina Lawrence Mathias. They honor and celebrate diversity and inclusion while welcoming everyone to their little corner of the world. Both women are passionate about providing beautiful fiber products to crafters of any skill, as well as promoting the preservation of rare breed sheep. In addition to owning t
he shop, Jeri and Irina have a flock of North American Wensleydale, Leicester Longwool, and rare breed Shetland sheep just outside the shop window on their farm in York County, PA. Flock yarns are always available along with yarns they manufacture and hand-dye including Yorkshire Medley, a DK and Fi*****ng weight yarn that is a blend of Wensleydale and Blue Faced Leicester and Seadale, a worsted weight yarn composed of Wensleydale and Manx Loaghtan. Also, in the shop are products from Brooklyn Tweed, Kelbourne Woolens, and more! They also provide the hand spinner and felter with the largest selection of roving in Central Pennsylvania. These two women are extremely passionate about the fiber arts and are regularly willing to share their knowledge and expertise with whoever desires.
