CHEESEY CHICKEN TORTELLINI BAKE
Ingredients:
• 1 (20 oz) bag cheese tortellini (slightly thawed if frozen)
• 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken or pre-grilled chicken work great)
• 3T The Salty Sister's onion soup/dip mix
• 1 3/4 cups beef broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• Salt & pepper, to taste
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup Gruyère, Swiss, or provolone cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Add tortellini and chicken to a greased 9x13 baking dish.
3. In a bowl whisk together:
• beef broth
• heavy cream
• Onion soup mix
• Worcestershire sauce
4. Pour over tortellini and stir lightly.
5. Season the whole casserole with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes if tortellini is thawed/refrigerated, or 45–50 minutes if frozen, until tortellini is tender.
7. Remove foil, stir gently, then top with cheeses.
8. Bake uncovered another 10 minutes until melted and bubbly.
9. Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for a golden cheesy top.
