Starting the day the right way—enjoying some quiet time by the fire with an El Tigre Dominicano in hand. There’s something about the combination of a good cigar, the sound of crackling wood, and a peaceful morning that helps set the tone for a productive day.

Tonight’s pour is something special—Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel from Warehouse CN-E, a 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon bottled at a bold 110 Proof. This exceptional pick from Discount Drinks delivers everything I love about a well-aged Russell’s: rich caramel, vanilla, oak, and just the right amount of spice with a long, satisfying finish.

For the pairing, I’m lighting up the HVC 10th Anniversary , a cigar worthy of the occasion. The creamy notes, subtle sweetness, and refined complexity of this celebratory blend complement the bourbon beautifully, allowing both the whiskey and cigar to shine without overpowering one another.

Tasty Tuesday got a little experimental today. 🥃🧪

Hit the lab with a few blends featuring Honey and let’s just say… the results were dangerous in the best way possible.

First up:
🔥 Green River Honey 92 proof blended with Green River Full Proof 119 proof.

But then, under heavy coercion from my guy Kevin aka 😆, I mixed a 1:1 ratio of Green River Honey with Green River Wheated 123 proof… and somehow created a smooth 107 proof wheater with a honey finish that absolutely slaps.

Sweet on the front end, rich wheated body through the middle, and enough proof on the back end to remind you this ain’t just another flavored pour. Sometimes the best pours come from stepping outside the box and experimenting a little.

Mail Call Monday and another absolute banger from Dark Arts Whiskey.

Special shout out to and the entire team over at for continuing to push the envelope. I never knew a port-finished whiskey could be this good — rich, layered, and incredibly balanced from the first sip to the finish.

Pairing this fresh crack with the legendary **rs Amazon Basin, still one of my favorite ci**rs in the rotation. The earthiness of this stick pairs beautifully with the depth and sweetness of the pour. Some combinations just hit different.

Tonight’s pour is the barrel select of James E. Pepper coming in at a bold 55.2% ABV (110.4 Proof). Rich color in the glass with a nose full of caramel, oak, spice, and dark sweetness that immediately lets you know this one means business. The palate delivers that perfect balance of heat and flavor with layers that keep opening up sip after sip.

Paired alongside the Robusto Cameroon 5 x 52 from ,bringing those signature earthy and slightly sweet Cameroon wrapper notes that complement the spice of the pour beautifully.
