I started making Carrot Cakes because I could not find a bakery that would make a REAL carrot cake. It is my husband's favorite cake. That was almost 18 years ago. After starting with a 40 year old recipe and tweeking it to make it my own over the years, people kept saying that I should sell it. So one Christmas season, a few years ago, I decided that I would. I have a severely autistic son who is
now 16 and has no language. He keeps me busy 24/7. So, a regular job for me is not really an option. Making Carrot Cakes is my hobby because I do enjoy it so much and I can make them around my son's schedule. I do thoroughly enjoy the wonderful comments I get when I deliver someone a Carrot Cake. I sell different sizes; 4" teacake - $4
6" round - $12
9" round single layer - $20
quarter sheet cake - $35
Each quarter sheet cake has 3 cups of carrots. It also has pineapples, raisins and pecans. I only use the best cream cheese - Philidelphia brand, and real butter in my icing. And I also use pecans in my icing. (Pecans and raisins can be optional.) feel free to contact me at 972-989-4856.
