Just in time for the rainy season. Got 3 loads of rock and free skid steer dropped off today. Had a bunch of other work for today but when you get a free skid steer for 24 hours you change your plans and put it to work.

First 238 rolls of the year and everything did great. Hopefully this is a sign of a good year to come.

Not liking the new pump. They said we probably added 5-10hp by turning it up. however this thing is a smoke machine now. Non stop light stream and when you come out Of the hay and go back in itll look like a stack of tires are on fire for about 30ft. It doesn’t hesitate or bogg down though but I’ve never been a big fan of rolling coal. Black smoke ain’t HP it’s wasted fuel. But the pump was messed up is why we couldn’t stay factory so my only opinion is to buy a new 3500 pump which probably ain’t happening well just stick with ol smokie.

Finally going farming. Can’t get it to rain around here so broke out the rain maker and going to cut some wheat. Now it’ll rain the next 10 days. But That’s spring farming just got to roll the dice and hope for a Yahtzee.

First time packing bearings. I didn’t think they’d take this much grease. But onto the other 3.

Got us a new bail trailer. Some assembly required. It does have a bend but right now it would be a 8 bail so I plan to cut it and stretch it to a 9 replacing the bent part. Everything came with it minus the channel to stretch it but I have that in my scrap pile.

$9100 and a week later we got everything washed and painted 😂. Now the fun of installing them.

Little nerve racking laying under this why you let it down and get it stabbed in place. But that’s what makes life fun is not knowing what dumb idea will take you out.
