Things are coming along! We are looking at a later start date than last year (we started around the 7th of July).

This year has come with some challenges…. Increased seed costs, increased fertilizer costs increased fuel prices, too dry… and then too wet… it’s always something.

But, we wanted to bring you up to speed so there are no surprises when you come through the drive thru or pick up a dozen from Rural King when we go in town. While we have tried to keep our cost per dozen reasonable and have not increased our prices for 2 years, we can’t hold the the same price as the last 2 years. This year we will be at $9 a dozen. We appreciate your business and support and we hate the increased prices and don’t want to contribute to your financial stress. But, being transparent is what we’re about. We can’t wait to see you in just a few weeks!

Today, Monday 8/4, we have bicolor.

Tomorrow Tuesday 8/5 (and potentially Wednesday 8/6) Limited quantities of Silver King and more bicolor.

Wednesday (8/6) bicolor and what’s left to pick of silver king.

More than likely we’ll wrap things up on Thursday (8/7).

If we’re open on Friday, it probably won’t be a full day.

We are SO thankful, grateful and blessed to have another great season. Y’all are the best and make all our hard work worth doing. Thank you!

While our sweet corn season is getting close to being over (we only have about a week or so left), we have the opportunity to offer some local honey in the drive thru. If you’ve been looking for some local honey, let me introduce you to Kent and Amy Wagner at Hen and Hive Homestead and their 16oz and 8oz bottles of pure honey! They’re located in Cedarville and their honey is just about as sweet as our corn 😉. You can pick up the larger bottle for $12 and the smaller one for $6. If you’re interested in picking some up, we’re offering Venmo as a payment option.

We’re also trying out Venmo as a payment option for our corn and shirts. Just ask one of us in the drive thru if you’re interested!

We WILL NOT have silver king today. However, we have one more planting of it that we’ll be getting to in the days ahead. I will keep you posted.

But, this bi-color variety that we’re in today is 👌 super good! See you soon!
