Jackson's Farm tomato season has begun. Our first pick of the season. Small quantities $2.00/ pound and over 10 pounds will be $1.50/ pound. Our second quality tomatoes will be $1.00/ pound any quantity.

We just started picking Bicolor sweet corn( variety Solstice). We have both white and bicolor sweet corn now!

Our early variety of cantaloupe(muskmelon) have started to ripen! Mostly 3-5 pound melon priced at $1 per pound.

We picked more white sweet corn today, variety name is Leadoff. We will have sweet corn every day now though early October. Jackson's Farm Market is open Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm and noon-6pm on Sunday. US 68 S of Xenia ( local roads- unofficial detour) detours this week will only take you a couple of miles extra.

SWEET CORN! Celebrate July 5 with some Jackson's Farm white sweet corn. Our first big pick of the season. Leadoff is the name of the variety. Open Sunday noon to 6

I just checked our first planting of sweet corn today, Friday, July 3 and it is just not quite ready to pick on Saturday, July 4. We will pick on Tuesday, July 7 when the ears will be more filled out.
At Jackson's Farm Market this weekend we have cantaloupe, watermelon, tomatoes, green beans, peaches, cucumbers, zucchini, potatoes, Vidalia onions, bibb lettuce, mini pies and Eric's Pretzels.

Local Blue Lake green beans( stringless) are now available at the market. Price does vary occasionally especially the bushel price. Presently green beans by the bushel are $42. A one pound bag is $2.50 and a two pound bag is now $4.50. Our Jackson's Farm sweet corn is only a few days away. We will post price and availability when we start picking.

Happy Father's Day! Here are some pictures of a few items we have to offer right now. Sweet corn coming in two weeks. We are open Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm and Sunday noon-6pm.

This is the market season we rely on our southern states to provide us with early season fruit and vegetables. Specifically in the market now include Georgia and South carolina grown peaches, tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, and Vidalia onions, Florida grown seedless and seeded watermelon and cantaloupe.
Growing in our fields to be harvested mid summer incude sweet corn( starting around July 4), zucchini and yellow squash( start harvesting mid June), cucumbers( start harvesting late June), tomatoes( start harvesting
end of July), cantaloupe( start harvesting( end of July), watermelon( start harvesting in August), green peppers and eggplant( start harvesting end of July). Local Blue Lake green beans coming early July. As always we appreciate our regular customers and we always welcome new customers to Jackson's Farm Market.
