We had the most amazing weekend with some of the nicest folks we know. It was the OVDBA Dexter Cattle Show in Wooster. So many people come together to make this show happen and show their favorite cows. This group is so kind and helpful to each other. It restores my faith in people. We just love to come and visit great friends that we only see a few times a year. Our daughter, Danielle, does the showing with her dad getting in the ring a couple times too. This year was extra special for us as our milk cow EF Grace won Champion Female and then went on to win OVDBA 2024 Supreme Dexter Champion. We are so proud of Danielle and Grace ❤️

We have been contacted by a few folks that told us someone is soliciting beef and cattle to people online under our farm name.

A few things to know:

1) We never ask for a deposit
2) We only deal in Dexter breeding stock
3) We only deal in Dexter grass-fed beef
4) We do not ship beef
5) Any communication from our farm will be with Dan or Cindy Edgington at Edgington Farms
6) Be aware. Don't be scammed.

Hey local folks. We are having 8 of our grass fed steers processed on May 3rd. We sell by the split half (1/4), half (1/2), and whole (1). As of today, we have 1 whole and 3/4 left. The beef will be cut to your specifications, vacuum packed, and ready to take home around mid-May. Send us a DM if you'd like to be put on the list or if you have questions!

Hmmmm. Took this sourdough discard out of the fridge about an hour ago thinking it might be too old. Looks like there is still some life in it! It is a little runny but smells great. May try to make some cheese crackers😊
