Five & Two Farms is an innovative gardening process providing a platform to provide nutritious produce to local children and families in the food deserts while empowering family and community in economic, nutritious, and social ways. We are using a high tunnel growing model which extends our growing season with lower water and fertilizer use. Providing opportunities for hands-on growing, handling,

preparing, preservation and selling of the food products. The goal is to reach into our communities with opportunities for community gardens, small family gardens, produce stands, and even family farms. It is our fervent wish that Five & Two Farms will become a platform to positively influence our communities of need. Keeping in mind the adage "Give a man a fish - feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish - feed him for a lifetime".
