Bale Breaker Brewing Company was founded in 2013 in Moxee, WA, but our story starts back in 1932, when our great-grandparents planted our family’s first five-acre hop field in the Yakima Valley. Now, 80+ years later, our love of hops and passion for craft beer has led us to where we are today – running a craft brewery surrounded by our family’s hop fields, just minutes from where we were born and

raised. Bale Breaker Brewing Company focuses on handcrafted ales that showcase Yakima Valley hops and celebrate Yakima’s status as one of the leading hop growing regions in the world. YAKIMA TAPROOM HOURS:

We will be meeting at BOTH taprooms on Tuesday, September 8th, so you’ll have plenty of time to come sip on a brew and read one of these contemporary fiction novels. These are all great books and we can’t wait to read the winner! Book Club meet-ups are filled with cold beers, lively discussions, giveaways, and genre trivia in Yakima.

Ales for ALS is more than just a day of great beer, music, food, and fun—it’s a cause woven into our family’s story. After our owners’ uncle was diagnosed with ALS, we wanted to find a way to help. What started as a small beer event here in Yakima has since grown into a worldwide campaign that has raised nearly $10 million funding ALS research to help find treatments and a cure.

We hope you’ll join us at our Yakima taproom on Saturday, June 27th from 12–9 PM for our annual Ales for ALS event, where we’ll be donating $1 from EVERY alcoholic beverage sold directly to ALS TDI | ALS Research Institute. Come have some fun, raise a glass, and support a meaningful cause with every sip.
