This Sunday, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit El Faro on 1402 S 1st Street in Yakima. We were craving authentic Mexican seafood, and once again, this place did not disappoint.
From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
For our meal, we ordered the campechana, a refreshing cold seafood cocktail loaded with octopus, shrimp, pico de gallo, and a blend of flavorful spices that give this dish its unique taste. We also tried the ceviche mixto, prepared with shrimp, fish, and octopus.
As someone who grew up along Mexico’s Pacific Coast, I can honestly say the flavors brought back a sense of home. The freshness, seasoning, and authenticity are hard to find, and El Faro delivers every time.
⭐ Food: 5/5
The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is impressive. The dishes arrive looking so good that you almost don't want to dig in.
⭐ Customer Service: 5/5
Great service overall. Our waitress was attentive, checked on us regularly, and provided a pleasant dining experience.
⭐ Price: 5/5
We paid $18 for the campechana and $16 for the ceviche mixto. Considering the portion sizes, freshness, and quality, the value is outstanding.
