Jameson has been an Ambassador with us since 2024 and we’re so grateful to have him as a part of our B’s Rubs team!
We asked him 3 questions about BBQ’ing - check out his answers below! 👇🏼
Q: What is your favorite B's Rubs product and why?
A: Mine has to be a combo Gnarly Garlic with the Batch #9 seasoning. Both are good separate. The Gnarly Garlic just has that coarseness and of course, I’m a garlic fanatic. Then Batch #9 is just an all around good all purpose seasoning. (It’s good on popcorn too!).
Q: What got you into cooking/BBQ?
A: I grew up watching my dad BBQ in the summertime. He had a Smokey Joe and would do ribs and chicken on it. Ribs were my favorite growing up.
When I got to college I missed that so I started cooking on a charcoal grill in the summer months when I was there. Not only that, but I was 1 of the 7 guys living in a house that kind of knew how to cook. So it taught me how to cook even more. Then I bought a house and obviously had to buy a grill, then COVID hit and I was bored, wanted a pellet grill. So one Facebook marketplace trip later, I got a Yoder YS1500 and was hooked.
Q: What is your favorite thing to cook or BBQ?
A: I don’t have a favorite thing per se…probably brisket.
But my favorite thing about BBQ is everyone getting together, enjoying people’s company and seeing them truly enjoy a meal you made.
