Across BarthHaas, Haas, and Hop Products Australia, we’ve committed to set a near-term emissions reduction target aligned with the 1.5°C pathway – the most ambitious level defined by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

SBTi is a globally recognized framework that helps companies set emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science, turning ambition into credible, measurable, accountable action.

For us, this means doing the work to support a sustainable future of high-quality beer and beyond: building robust GHG inventories, developing a 5-10 year emissions reduction roadmap for submission to the SBTi later this year, and sharing our progress through annual CDP reporting.

Cheers and congrats to the Haas Innovations Brewing team!

Last week, Max, Jeff, and Amanda brought home a bronze medal in the American-Style Lager category for our B-Rice Lager at the Washington Brewers Guild annual beer awards.

While most of our beers are for R&D, this one was designed and brewed with love and admiration for long-time (45 years!) Haas employee Brice Hiatt, the driving force behind the modern hop pellet. We first enjoyed this beer at Brice's retirement party—a fitting tribute to someone who has contributed so much to the world of beer.
