“SHUSH May The 4th Be With You”
AKA “Star Wars”

Decided to get a glamour shot of this old girl today. Pulled her off the pasture, still has 2 kids on her and is 8 years old. This doe is made right, maternal as they come and built to produce. She is the dam to our great buck, 4TFM Straitjacket. Not only that, we counted today after we pictured her. We have 12 of our 19 Boers left directly related to her on the farm right now, and we lost 16 in the fire. This one’s family all catch your eye. Best $350 I ever spent!

**Warning, you can kind of see some of the dead goats if you really look**

Words really can’t describe the feeling of something like this happening. We’ve all seen it happen to others and always think it won’t happen to us, but then it did. 10 years of genetics and working on our breeding program almost all lost in no time at all. Between brood does and kids we lost half of our herd. The entire 2026 kid crop, except 3 literally up in smoke. It really hit me a bit ago when I went to feed(with feed from our friends who are more like family brought us) and I didn’t even have a grain scoop to scoop into a bucket. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out and offered a hand. We really appreciate you all. We are all fine on the outside thank god. This video is from after the fire department drug out all the panels and what was left of the stalls.

Combine that with his length and heavy muscling, with bone to pack it on and you’ve got all the right pieces. 1x1 teats, perfect bite and sc***um and 90% pigment.
