🌿 A little reminder from the farm today... 🌿

It's so easy to get caught up in what's next—the next goal, the next project, the next thing we think will make us happy. We spend so much time chasing the future that we forget to appreciate the present.

Lately, I've been reminding myself to slow down and look around.

A few years ago, so much of what surrounds us today was just a dream. This farm, the animals, the farmstand, the life we've built as a family, and the community we've found along the way were all things we hoped for, worked for, and manifested.

Is everything perfect? No. There are still challenges, hard days, and plenty of things we'd like to accomplish. But sometimes the greatest gift is realizing that the life you're wishing for might be the life you're already living.

The version of you from years ago would be amazed at how far you've come.

So today, take a moment to pause. Look around. Celebrate the progress, the growth, and the dreams that became reality. Don't get so focused on the next chapter that you forget you're living a chapter you once manifested.

A quick heads up for this week: all baked good pre-orders will be available for pickup on Friday only. This Saturday, we'll be out supporting our amazing Derby Days Ambassadors at the Carlton Fun Day Parade, and we couldn't be more excited!

If you're planning to order your favorite breads, treats, or baked goods, be sure to get your order in and plan for Friday pickup.

We also want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who supported our farm stand and bakery over Father's Day weekend. Your orders, kind words, and continued support mean the world to our family.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandpas, bonus dads, and father figures out there!

We spent the morning up bright and early doing exactly what Dad wanted to do—fishing. 🎣 It was the perfect way to start the day, making memories together and enjoying some time outdoors. More pictures to come!

To celebrate all the amazing dads, the farm stand is open today until dusk, and all baked goods are 50% off. Stop by and grab a treat for Dad (or yourself—we won't tell 😉).

This past weekend, our family lost someone incredibly special—my grandfather passed away.
He was an amazing human, a proud veteran, a father of five, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. His life was full, hard-working, and deeply rooted in love for his family.

Some of my most formative memories are because of him—riding horses together, learning how to throw a proper right hook because he believed women should know how to protect themselves,learning practical life skills like how to change a tire, and walking me down the aisle on my wedding day. He taught in the quiet, steady way that stays with you forever.

He lived a beautiful life, and we are so grateful for the time we had with him.

We also want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, and held space for our family during this time. It means more than we can put into words, and we appreciate the grace as we take a little time to process and be with family.

We may be a little quieter this week as we navigate this loss, but we will be open this weekend for Father’s Day.

Pre-orders are still open, and we will continue to serve our community as we feel able and grounded.

Thank you for understanding, and for always showing up for our family.

When you get a call from the Legion Hall asking if you'll make the cake for their Flag Day celebration, how could you say no?

With a husband who served our country and a grandfather who proudly wore the uniform too, this day hold a special place in our heart. This year, as we walk through some tender moments with my grandfather, being able to create something for this celebration feels especially meaningful.
