Most people have never tasted pork raised this way. Not because it’s rare, but because it’s not in the stores you shop at.

Our heritage hogs live outdoors at — foraging pasture and forested hillsides, raised on a locally milled custom feed with no corn, soy, or seed oils. That means significantly lower PUFAs, the inflammatory fats that dominate conventionally raised pork.

Commodity pork is raised to be cheap. Ours is raised to be nourishing — and so flavorful you won’t need to brine it, mask it, or overseason it just to make it taste like something.

Thick-cut bacon. Deeply marbled chops. Roasts that actually taste like pork.

Here’s how it works:
Reserve a whole or half hog with a deposit. We raise it, process it, and deliver it to your freezer — labeled, wrapped, and cut to your specs.

Half share: ~60–70 lbs
Whole share: ~120–130 lbs

No subscription. No mystery. Just pork from animals raised with care on land you can actually visit.

Shares are available now. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

Ribeye Steak With Warm Tomato-Corn Salad and Pesto. 🥩🌽

Serves 4–6

Ingredients:
4 bone-in ribeye steaks (about 1 lb each, ~1½” thick)
Kosher salt + freshly cracked black pepper
¼ cup vegetable oil (divided)
6 ears corn, shucked
1 pint cherry tomatoes
4 scallions, thinly sliced (whites + greens separated)
¼ cup basil leaves (for garnish)
Pesto Vinaigrette:
¼ cup + 2 tbsp pesto
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar

Instructions:
Remove steaks from fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Season generously with salt + pepper.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high. Add 2 tbsp oil and sear steaks 3–5 minutes per side (or to desired doneness). Rest 10 minutes.
In the same pan, char corn 4–6 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.
Add tomatoes + scallion whites to the pan, cooking until tomatoes begin to burst (2–3 minutes).
Slice corn off the cob and toss with tomatoes, scallions, and half the vinaigrette. Season to taste.
Whisk together vinaigrette ingredients. Add more as desired.
Serve alongside steaks, finished with basil and a drizzle of olive oil.

Most people have never tasted pork raised this way. Not because it’s rare — because it’s almost never how pork is sold in a grocery store.

Our heritage hogs live outdoors at The Ground at Tabula Rasa Farms, foraging on pasture and forested hillsides. Alongside what they find, they eat a locally milled, custom non-GMO feed with no corn, soy, or seed oils—which means significantly lower PUFAs (poly-unsaturated fats), the inflammatory fats linked to most industrially raised meat.

Commodity pork isn’t raised to taste like anything. It’s raised to be the least expensive option.

Ours is raised to be eaten. Thick-cut bacon. Deeply marbled chops. Roasts that don’t need to be rescued with brine or seasoning.

Here’s how it works:
You reserve a whole or half hog with a deposit. We raise it, process it, and pack it. You pick it up ready for your freezer—labeled, wrapped, and butchered to your specs. No subscription. No mystery. Just a freezer stocked with pork you know.

A half share runs roughly 60–70 lbs. A whole share roughly 120–130 lbs. Enough to last a family of four most of the year.

Shares are available now. Once they’re spoken for, they’re gone.
