We’re excited to share select wines today, Saturday May 30t, for Portland State University’s (PSU) annual alumni VIKINGS on the VINE wine event.

The 2026 PSU Winemaker’s Tasting is hosted by Stoller Family Estate at their Experience Center in Dayton, Oregon between 1 and 4 pm.

This incredible gathering unites the PSU community and celebrates alumni-affiliated winemakers across the Willamette Valley.

Fairsing’s General Manager, Meara (McNally Butler) is a Viking alum, having earned a masters degree in Geographic Information Systems from PSU.

Meara will showcase wines included in PSU’s Spring Wine Club package for its members - the 2018 Fairsing Vineyard Pinot noir and 2022 Fairsing Vineyard Chardonnay.

To celebrate, Fairsing Vineyard welcomes Linfield for a Wildcat Weekend this Friday through Sunday, May 29-31.

To mark the 2026 commencement, Linfield graduates, their families and friends, faculty, representatives, and alumni are invited to enjoy exclusive savings and offerings throughout the weekend.

2026 Linfield graduates to enjoy a complimentary wine flight tasting (must be 21 years of age).

Befitting the occasion, Fairsing will assist with marking and signing celebratory bottles and magnums purchased to commemorate the weekend.

Celebrate in style with awe-inspiring views of the valley, sparkling wine, Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and light culinary selections.

For groups seeking a lunch or hearty snack option, Fairsing offers an Elevated Seated Tasting with artisan cheeses, charcuterie, spreads, mixed nuts, fresh fruits, and noshing selections. Reservations are required for the Elevated Seated Tasting.

When you look up the definition of, “World Biodiversity Day”, this is the image you might see next to all the text.

It’s the crimson clover in bloom across the vineyard and headlands at Fairsing.

Not only does the bloom phase of this vibrant clover nourish pollinators in the early spring, its root system releases a steady supply of nitrogen to the soil as it decomposes.

As a cover crop it’s brilliant and regenerative - an integral component to our sustainability.

It’s nature’s version of a “smarty plant” and why the crimson clover is featured prominently on the labels of our Fairsing Vineyard Pinot noir.
