Around here, the lessons don’t start in a classroom—they start at the pasture gate.

We believe the next generation learns by doing. They learn that ranching means early mornings, hard work, responsibility, and caring for the land and livestock long before anyone is watching.

Every gate opened, every fence checked, every evening spent watching cattle with Dad is building something bigger than a cow herd. It’s building character, work ethic, and an appreciation for the life God has blessed us with.

We’re not just raising cattle.

It’s funny how life turns into a schedule. Somewhere between the rinse and repeat of chores, school, practice, chores, eat, sleep…the days get full fast.

We put our chin down and get it done!

But standing there watching her— boots planted, hands steady, heart all in — you remember WHY.

These aren’t the busy years…They’re the building years.

I have to remind myself to lift my head, take a breath, and stop counting how much there is to do.
