It’s been a minute since I have posted, it has been a busy but hard August and September. We are very dry, and pray for rain daily! The cooler temps have been nice and give us some hope, the forecast looks like we could get some promising rain next week. We always seem to miss it when it rains around us🥹
It can be discouraging when you are a farmer in the Texas heat, but my husband still gets out there everyday to make sure our cows and goats are comfortable, have plenty of hay and water, and healthy. We are getting closer to the fall season and that means lower goat milk production. Some of our goats will be drying off and getting their much deserved maternity leave to have babies in January-February. So be patient with us as we try to meet the demand over the next few months.
Tyler customers we are still delivering to the area just on a different day of the week and location. More details are on the website on the Tyler page🙂
As always, we are truly thankful for all of you. We wouldn’t be able to do this without the encouraging words, smiles, and thoughtful gestures that keep us motivated to keep farming and dairying. Small dairy farms are dwindling even more with the high cost of things in our economy. Thank you for your continued support so that we can continue to provide the best dairy products! Support other small farms, small businesses, meat markets, etc. They will be the ones who give back to our community!
With much love and gratefulness,
Blake and Kendra
