By moving our Gallagher Tumble Wheels twice a day during the grazing season, the herd gets peak nutrition on clean forage. This mimics natural migration patterns of native ruminant animals. It’s good for the land and good for the animals.

It may come as a surprise that we don't only eat our own beef. The truth is, we are a small producer and we have a hard time keeping up with demand for the most popular cuts. Last Christmas, our family enjoyed a USDA graded PRIME Prime Rib from Double R Ranch in Loomis, WA. It was exceptional

It was so good that we didn’t just buy one for ourselves this year; we ordered a few extra to share with you.

These are steakhouse quality. For context: The iconic Metropolitan Grill in Seattle cuts these same Rib Roasts into 24oz bone-in Ribeye steaks, which are on the menu for $140 each.

A lot of what we buy today is a product of a complex supply chain—a long, complicated journey from a place you can’t see to a place you don’t know.

The taste is a little flat.

The connection is gone. But there was an era when you knew your food. When you could buy it directly from the person who grew it. That era didn’t disappear. It just got harder to find.
