Thursday evening update: Tonight was the best night for picking...we got down to 85° with a lovely breeze. It is just now starting to rain.

We met some more wonderful families and had some good conversations.

We expect to run out of grapes tomorrow morning...if you are wanting some plan to come early...we open at 7am.

Once again, we cannot thank you all enough for a successful harvest. We hope you enjoy your produce and have fun with whatever you make. Juice is our favorite. But, Bruce has had good luck with making a dry red the last two years.

We hope to see you again next year!

THURSDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: We had some good pickers this morning and still have plenty of grapes to pick!! It doesn't look like we are going to get much rain if any, so we will be here tonight and throughout the weekend until the grapes are gone.

We will still be running our tropical storm special...the 1st 5 gallon bucket per family is $1.00. Every bucket after the first is $2.00 per gallon.

If you need assistance please drive over the second cattle guard up to the blue canopy tent.
Park right there and we can help with gators, wagons, carrying...we can drive you right up to the grapes and help you load them in the car. Whatever we can do to help. Our granddaughter Skylar was a fantastic runner for us yesterday. 🥰

If you're having trouble finding us...Do not put Loose Grapes Vineyard when you're coming here. Google will take you to the wrong location. You need to put in 991 County Road, 317 Yoakum Texas.

CHANGE OF DATES...We are looking at the weather...we need rain but the grapes don't at this time of year...they'll explode and fruit flies will run amok...several people have called about picking earlier...so starting tomorrow evening Tuesday we will open the gates for picking.

Bruce wants ALL THE GRAPES PICKED he does not want to deal with the mess of HAULING THEM OFF. Which thanks to our gracious pickers and buyers we have not had to do. We hope to keep it that way...as an incentive 🥰🥳🍇💜

How about a GRAPE SPECIAL!!! YOUR FIRST 5 🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇GALLONS ARE JUST $1.00(per family)!!! Yep, you read that right. If you want more than the 5 gallons, then it's the regular price of $2.00 a gallon. SO just to clarify $1buck for your first 5 gallons and $2 bucks per gallon after that.

Please come and help us get rid of these grapes.

Harvest Dates are set!!! The grapes are ripening with this beautiful rain. We are currently at 17 brix. They will be perfect for picking next Thursday. Check the flyer for the hours. The hours are flexible, if you need to come at a different time, just call. We try not to pick during the heat of the day...if the gate is open your welcome to come. Please share and bring a friend or two!!
