The invasive Bradford pear and Forsythia are easy to spot this time of year. Serviceberry and dogwood trees are great natives to replace Bradford pear (which smell a million times better🤣). Spicebush is a native that could replace forsythia, it's yellow in the spring green in the summer and the leaves turn a golden yellow in the fall!

The Invasive Replace-ive Program is a new initiative that will give Pennsylvania homeowners and others the option to remove invasive trees and shrubs from their property and replace them with native trees.

Property owners are encouraged to remove one or more invasive species and receive up to five FREE, healthy, native, young replacement trees. Events begin in May.

We had some VERY active eggs tonight!! Day 8 and normally all you can see are some nice veins but these little guys were all over the place. Day 14 we'll candle them again🥚🐣🐣
