Here is a picture of our shell peas forming in the pods. We will be picking them on Friday for the Saturday farmer's market at Adams County Farmer's Market. Please come by and see our booth. Our horses stay out in pastures all day and night. They are only brought into stalls twice daily for feeding so that we can make sure everyone is healthy and getting their grain ration. The teenagers were exhausted after a night of grazing and didn't want to go back out again!

Pepper and Queen getting their yearly dental work. Many horses need to have the sharp edges on their teeth filed off yearly. It is due to the weird way horses chew their food. The Vet drugs them and then does the filing. It makes it much more pleasant for the horse to chew their feed afterwards.

Day 2 of solar installation complete. This is a picture of the back up battery and controller unit. Other boxes have been installed in the barn as well. Day 3 will be connecting the barn and house. They are trying to figure out if the existing conduit can be use or if new has to be laid. Will update when that happens. We are getting so close!!

Pepper after a day of rolling in the mud. She seems to love finding a good muddy place in the pasture, the grassy areas hold no joy apparently (or you only eat there and roll somewhere else). 🤣 Please ignore the cobwebs, they look way worse when lit with a flash!!😱
