Hey Hey it's Thursday! The day of the week with the MOST farm to table food/meals of the week. And the most baked goods other than Saturday! We have tons of both: Chicken corn soup, chicken bacon ranch mac and cheese, cinnamon rolls, tandy cakes and lots more. We are also stocked up on carving pumpkins and lots of stackers left too. Mum sale still on: $2 off. WAGYU BEEF! And LOTS of fresh produce, get it before the frost ends the season for several items! Here is what's in stock:

🍳 FARM TO TABLE: Chicken bacon ranch mac and cheese! Chicken corn soup! homemade "hamburger helper", goulash, BLT pasta salad, Kielbasa rice bowls, bacon quiche, baked oarmal and more!
🍰 BAKED GOODS: Cinnamon rolls! Tandy cakes, LOTS of different cookies, several brownies including peanut butter cup brownies. Smore's bars are back! Hostess cake, honey bun cake, peanut butter cake, fudge rounds, and more!
🥩 WAGYU BEEF: It's back baby! Two steers worth of steaks, roasts, ground and patties. Come try it or stock up! Only a couple more left this season!
🥦 PRODUCE: We are still stocked to the gills with lots of fresh produce, from broccoli to tomatoes. But fair warning: The frost/freeze coming this weekend will slow/end some varieties.
🎃 PUMPKINS AND MUMS: Fully stocked for you! $2 off mums and $1 off stacking pumpkins!

Man is it going to be a good day! Those lists of baked goods and farm to table foods tired me out just typing it! I hope you enjoy it and that our farm is a blessing to you!

This may be a little bit of a boring post... at least compared to pumpkin costumes and goats! But it represents a lot of hard work and dedication to little things that matter. And I want you to know that the food you buy at White Clover is safe and fresh.
This is the inspection report from our most recent inspection from the PA department of Ag. They are in charge of inspecting our kitchen and our storage and retail area. (They are in charge of inspecting all food establishments in PA, not just farms). You can zoom in and see that we had 0 violations. In fact, in 5 years we have not had a single violation so far.

Thanks to the PA department of ag for being a partner in helping us do what we do, and keeping us all eating safely!

And I hope White Clover can continue to be a place you trust.

Happy Wednesday! Which means we open for the week today at 9am! We have SOUPS, we have MEALS, we have fresh produce, lots of treats and a mum sale ($2 off)! Our decorative pumpkins and stacks are fully stocked today, but from here on out we wont be adding a lot of them. We will be adding more and more carving pumpkins as we get towards halloween. Also later today we will have WAGYU beef coming out to the stand! It's a good day!

🍳 FARM TO TABLE: Lasagna soup is back! One of the most popular we make! AND stuffed pepper meals are back! Plus apple chicken salad.
🍪 BAKED GOODS: Pumpkin roll and apple crisp today! Plus some other things too!
🥦 FRESH PRODUCE: Lots! Tomatoes, squash, broccoli, romanesco, lots of lettuce, squash, apples, and more!
🌼 MUM SALE: $2 off all mums!! That makes them just $6!

I got attacked at the stand one day in the summer of 2022. It was the day after I posted that we were hiring our FIRST ever staff to actually work at our farmstand. Before that it had been honor system for a year. Cue Taylers entry to the White Clover story.

She ran up to me while I was stocking a cooler and yelled "I REALLY WANT TO WORK HERE!!!" And went on to tell me how much she loved our farm and her and her mom were there all the time.

About an hour later I got an email with the following subject line:
"Job Application (REALLY WANT TO WORK HERE)"

Ok... as the owner of a fledgling small business intent on making an impact on the community and being a friendly place people WANT to be.... how could I ignore this forceful albeit slightly crazed application? I scheduled an interview with John and I, and told John "unless shes a complete nut, we've got to hire her." Turns out, shes just enough nut to fit right in.

From the first day to her current shift TODAY, Tayler has shown how much she wants to be here. She works hard, she communicates well, she is loyal. It took less than a year for John and I to maker her our farmstand manager. All of you who have interacted with her know why.

In all honesty, Tayler has shaped this farm almost as much as we have as owners. Her fingerprints are in every department (she has worked in every department). She has helped set the authentic joyful culture you love. The way she treats you at the stand? Its the same way she treats us and her coworkers.

She has helped me load pigs, she has helped us bake, she has poured candles, bought christmas crafts and wreaths at auction, fed animals, picked produce, watered flowers in the greenhouse, harvested pumpkins, helped a goat birth a surprise baby in the field, AND done her actual job! Simply put: we can rely on Tayler.

Even with ALL the above, that's not what we love most about Tayler. It is her heart for people. I know you have seen it every time she helps you at the stand. It is real, not a part of her uniform she has to put on before her shift. Not to mention, she is clearly the one who makes the best "Nate face" in photos.

For all these reasons, we are so thankful for Tayler.

The heat is on in the greenhouse, and everything (other than the pumpkins and mums) are under roof. Here are the specials and the fresh made baked goods:
